We are McGill students… just like you.
Part of CHNGR Mtl 2019 we had discussions to start a project of SSE at McGill. McGill being in shambles/ under construction, Midnight Kitchen operating from Saint-Henri and coming to campus once a week because they are not given a space, the samosa issue.. Something has to get done.
First steps:
- research! So much has been done in the past so this is step one.
Why blog?
- Rather than keeping information in our personal notebooks and in meetings — we would rather share this information with you. Create public and inter-student dialogue at a mass level since the food stsem is affecting everyone.
- We will write about McGill’d food system and its context, the ressearch we find, and the campaigns we are going to build.
- We hope to connect to other groups or like minded students who want to be part of the MFC, or that would at least help support our campaign.
- We hope the MFC is sussecful at sharing information, there is a place, other than word of mouth of those involvd, that people can stay up to date with what we are doing.
